Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts & Culture presents Bachata y más! Come experience the magic of Bachata and discover why it’s the dance that’s sweeping the world. Bachata, a playful Latin dance originating from the Dominican Republic, is known for its hip movements, footwork, and close partner interaction. Bachata music combines electric guitar with Caribbean and Latin influences.
But wait! There’s more! We’ll also dance Salsa, Merengue, Kizomba, y más!
Join us for a night of pure dance bliss. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or taking your first steps, our vibrant community will welcome you with open arms (and smooth moves). Expect friendly faces and effortless connection; No partner? No problem! We rotate partners and foster a warm, inclusive atmosphere. All levels welcome, ages 18+!
Tickets $15 in advance until 11:59pm Friday the night before the dance, $18 at the door (Cash and credit accepted).
